2006 McKinney-Vento Funding Announcement

The Santa Clara Countywide Continuum of Care was awarded a total of $9,345,250. These funds will not only continue to support existing permanent and transitional housing and supportive services for homeless people, it will fund 29 new units of permanent housing.

Congratulations to all of the applicants and to those of you who were not applicants but who assisted the Collaborative on Affordable Housing and Homeless Issues in its work last year. Without a strong Collaborative, these grants funds would not come to Santa Clara County.
